Four villages, one brand home
01 — The brief
One brand, four very different villages
Hopper Living opened its first village, Maygrove in Orewa, in 2002. Today there are four: The Anchorage at Marsden Cove, Maygrove, Country Club Huapai and The Moorings in Whitianga.
Each village has its own location, amenities, sales manager and website. What the group did not have was a place that explained Hopper Living itself: family owned, sharing capital gains with residents, a lower age of entry, pet friendly.
The audience makes that harder. Many visitors are adult children researching on behalf of a parent, comparing operators on trust long before they compare floor plans, so the site is written to be scanned and believed rather than admired.
Four villages, side by side Each village gets its location, its amenities, its lifestyle and its own sales manager with a direct mobile, then hands off to that village's own site for stock and floor plans.
By the numbers
A group site that carries the whole portfolio
Feature
Every enquiry has to reach the right village. The form asks which village the visitor is interested in and routes to that village's sales team, with the enquiry stored against a contact record rather than living in an inbox.
- Village selection on the main enquiry form
- Named sales manager with a direct mobile on every village
- Virtual tours and property spotlights for individual homes
- Brochure requests per village
- Hoppertunity magazine and newsletter signup
- Enquiries stored in the CRM for follow up
Awards and residents
Proof from the people who live there
In 2025 Hopper Living took eight awards at the NZ's Best Awards, voted by residents.
In this category an award from residents carries more weight than any marketing line, so the homepage leads with it and the news archive keeps the history of finalist and winner years.
The news section doubles as the group's magazine, Hoppertunity, published through the year and read by residents and prospects alike.
02 — The process
How we got there
- 01
Understanding the buyer
The research is usually done by a son or daughter first. The structure follows that path: reassurance and credentials before floor plans and pricing.
- 02
A brand home for four villages
One identity that sits above four established village brands without competing with them, carried through photography, type and colour.
- 03
Village pages that hand off cleanly
Enough detail to shortlist a village, then a deliberate hand off to that village's own site for availability and plans.
- 04
Enquiry routing
A single form that asks the one question that matters, then routes to the sales manager who can actually help.
- 05
News and Hoppertunity
A news section the team publishes themselves, carrying awards, resident stories, village openings and the twice yearly magazine.
News that does the reassuring Village openings, award nights, resident fundraisers and seasonal promotions. Read end to end it answers the question a brochure cannot: is anything actually happening in these villages.
03 — The outcome
One front door for the group
A group site that introduces Hopper Living, then puts every enquiry in front of the right village team.
Prospects arrive able to compare four villages in one place, and the sales managers receive enquiries already qualified by location and interest.
The team publishes news, awards and Hoppertunity issues themselves, so the site keeps proving the villages are active communities rather than a development pitch.
